The Greenhouses of the Botanical Gardens

Old or contemporary, the greenhouses of the Botanical Gardens have different climates favourable for the growth of tropical and Mediterranean plants originating from 5 continents.

The greenhouses of Pregny (old greenhouses of the Baron Rothschild) are not open to the public. They hold certain special collections, serve to over-winter frost-sensitive plants and to produce a large number of the plants used in the ornamental flower-beds.
