Habit, vegetative morphology. Shrub, evergreen, 1.52 m tall. Current year's branchlets glabrous. Branchlets older than one year smooth or furrowed, reddish, glabrous. Lenticels on current year's branchlets absent or hardly visible. Internodes 0.10.5 cm. Stipules caducous, linear-triangular, 1 mm. Petiole glabrous, smooth surface, 49 mm. Lamina obovate, oblong (1:2), 2.54 X, 1.52.6 cm, coriaceous, glabrous abaxially. Base obtuse. Apex rounded, not mucronate. Apex rounded. Margin revolute, crenate to dentate, teeth conspicuous. Teeth 67 ca., over the entire length of the margin. Midbrid adaxially flat, glabrous. Midbrid abaxially raised, glabrous. Secondary veins abaxially evident, 68 pairs. Tertiary veins abaxially evident. Ponctuation abaxiallly present.
Inflorescences. Solitary dichasium.
Male flowers. Cymes of order 2. Peduncles glabrous. Peduncles of order 1 1517 mm. Pherophylls of order 1 at 67 tenth from the base. Peduncles of order 2 57 mm. Pherophylls of order 2 at 5 tenth from the base. Pherophylls of order 1 opposite, deltoid, glabrous, 1 mm, margin entire. Male flowers 4 -merous. Calyx glabrous, 2.5 mm in diam., margin entire. Corolla 2.5 mm, petals connate on, petals 20 % of their length. Apex margin entire. Stamens at the anthesis equal to corolla. Rudimentary ovary subglobulous or flattened, glabrous.
Female flowers. Cymes of order 1. Peduncles glabrous. Peduncles of order 1 89 mm. Pherophylls of order 1 at 5 tenth of the base. Pherophylls of order 1 opposite, deltoids, glabrous, 1 mm, margin entire. Female flowers 4 -merous. Calyx glabrous, margin entire (quelques rares poils), 4 mm in diam.
Fruits. Fruit ovoid, 45 mm in diam., 45 mm.
