Registration for loans
Readers living in the canton of Geneva
- Swiss Citizens: valid identification (national identity card, passport, driving license).
- Foreign residents: Work permit or other legitimate identity card.
- Children (from the age of 15 upwards): same documentation plus the signature of their legal representative on the registration form.
Readers not living in the canton of Geneva
- Teachers and collaborators of the University of Geneva and associated institutions: national identity card plus a card of legitimization from their institution.
- Students of the University of Geneva and associated institutions: identity card plus stamped postal receipt of the University fees for the current semester.
- People inscribed in the municipal libraries of Nyon, Ambilly, Annemasse, Communauté de Communes des Collines du Léman (Armoy, Cervens, Orcier et Perrignier), Divonnes-les-Bains, Evian, Gex, Saint-Julien, Thonon-les-Bains or Veigy-Foncenex: identity card plus a valid attestation from their respective libraries.
- Persons inscribed in a library of the network: BibliOpass: identity card plus a library card.
- Other persons: identity card plus a cautionary deposit (CHF 200.-).
Conditions of use
- Number of books lent: 15 volumes, including those borrowed from the entire "Réseau des bibliothèques Genvoise" (RBG).
- Length of loans: 4 weeks.
- Extensions: 2 extensions of 4 weeks (subject to approval). Extensions by telephone are possible (++ 41 22 418 52 00) during opening hours, or by internet.
