Horaire et lieu: 15 février et 2, 9, 16 et 23 mars 2017 aux CJBG.
Contenu: Introduction sur les pratiques et processus des écrits scientifiques. Une présentation des principes sera donnée pour faciliter les préparations des textes scientifiques, la clarté de l'exposé, la lisibilité et l'impact du sujet présenté.
Quatre types d'écrits seront développés: préparation de posters; planification structuration et composition d'articles scientifiques; revue de littérature et utilisation des références scientifiques; préparation de propositions de projets.

The aim of this course is to introduce the practice and processes involved in scientific writing and communication, specifically the preparation scientific articles and Masters projects, project proposals, posters and oral presentations. An understanding of the principles behind scientific communication facilitates the preparation of scientific texts and enhances the clarity, readability and impact of the published or presented research. The course will cover the following topics: 1) the planning, structuring and composition of scientific articles and Masters projects, 2) scientific posters, 3) oral presentations, and 4) the preparation of project proposals. The course is aimed at third-year Bachelors and Masters students. Given as a series of seminars and discussion-groups, the course depends on the active contributions of the participants.
Objectif: Acquisition of fundamental skills in scientific writing and communication.
