Partial closing of herbarium in 2016

As a conclusion to the various construction and refurbishments of buildings at G, there will be a major move in the herbarium collections of phanerogams and ferns in G this year. As a consequence, the herbarium will be closed to visitors from March 1st to June 30th, 2016. During this period, we will not process any requests of loans and/or digital images. Please refrain from sending any such requests during this period as these will not be retained within our system for processing. You are kindly invited to contact us with your requests starting from July, 2016.

However, we will continue to provide high resolution images of the specimens already scanned that you can see via our herbarium digital catalogue
(http://www.ville-ge.ch/musinfo/bd/cjb/chg/index.php?lang=en).

Please also note that these restrictions do not apply to the Cryptogam herbarium (except ferns).

We are sorry for any inconvenience this will cause, and hope for your understanding over this issue.
