The missions of the Conservatory and Botanical Garden

Conservation

The collected plant material, whether it is live specimens from the garden, or in the form of dried specimens from the herbarium, must be catalogued, organized and stored, so that it can be studied. Our herbarium material constitutes a reference collection and must be protected in order to ensure its long-term conservation.
