Spring's splendour at Geneva's botanical garden

Hester Macdonald takes a tour around the Geneva botanical garden in the company of the director, Pierre-André Loizeau, and ethnobotanist, Didier Roguet. Besides an amazing array of flowers and trees, including rhododendrons and magnolias, the garden boasts one of the world's best reference repositories for plants, with a herbarium of around six million dried plant specimens.
An Hester Macdonald's interview in the framework of the program "Dig it!", a World Radio Switzerland (the English-speaking channel of SSR SRG idée suisse) podcast (41 MB). Friday, 15 April, 2011.
