Web-flora of the lichens of Switzerland

Online publication of the flora of Swiss lichens.

The free lance lichenologist Mathias Vust has been asked by the Direction Générale de la Nature et du Paysage (DGNP) to build a Red Data List of the lichens of the Canton of Geneva. This Red Data List will be based on: 1. fieldwork already done by M. Vust in 2010 and 2011; 2. on herbarium specimens housed in the G herbarium; 3. on literature data. CJB collaboration is required for the identification of difficult specimens, for the study of the G herbarium specimens and for assistance in the redaction of the manuscript. It is foreseen to publish the Red List in 2013.

The genus Parmelia s.l. will be used as an example for the development of a database and a webpage for the Flora of Switzerland.

Online checklist of the Swiss lichens, with information about their nomenclature, ecology, distribution and literature.

Study of the herbarium specimens of the terricolous species of the lichen genus Candelariella in the collections of the CJB. Morphological and anatomical descriptions.
