Illustrated Flora of Chad
Chad was one of the last countries in Africa which did not own a Flora. But, how can you deal with environmental, agricultural and climatic issues without a plant identification tool, especially in a country as big as this one and with extreme weather conditions? Jean César, the main author, offers in this book various identification keys, descriptions, distribution maps and above all drawings for each of the 2098 species in the country. Each family is represented by several pictures from African Plants - a Photo Guide and from Dr. Mbayngone. This publication would not have been possible without the close cooperation of Switzerland cooperation’s programme in Chad, the University of N'Djamena and the CJBG.
