After being closed for 80 days, the Conservatory and botanical Garden is happy to welcome you once again, in compliance with the measures and recommendations implemented by the FOPH and according to the Swiss botanical gardens' protection plan (French / German).

To enjoy your visit to the fullest extent, we kindly ask you to follow the Covid-19 regulations in effect (in French).

Wearing a mask is compulsory in the Library, the Greenhouses, and the Botanic Shop

Supervisory measures will be undertaken to ensure compliance with the set conditions.

BOTANICA Exhibition - The rise of invasive neophytes
Discover these new and exotic plants which benefit from the advantageous conditions brought forward by climate change to pursue their massive spread thus causing environmental, economic or health problems, as well as the measures undertaken to deal with them.

Exhibition Carl von Martius - Discovering tropical biodiversity
Between 1817 and 1820, Bavarian botanist, Carl von Martius (1794-1868), sets off to discover Brazil, thus becoming the first naturalist to describe the important plant diversity of the Amazon forest.
