His photographic work shows a deep commitment to the future of the peoples of the Amazonian forest, in line with the work of ethnologist René Fuerst and filmmaker Daniel Schweizer with whom he founded Amazonian Memory, an association that promotes the claims of Indians outside their borders. His first reports are about the Xikrin population of Cateté in Brazil and focus on the continuities and ruptures of their culture.
