Daniel Schoepf collection (1941-2020)

Curator of the MEG's America Department from 1969 to 2003, ethnologist Daniel Schoepf carried out about ten missions to the Wayana and Wayana-Apalai populations in Brazil and French Guiana. His photographic documentation - 5088 monochrome and colour images - is a remarkable testimony to the daily life of the Wayana people in the last decades of the 20th century.
