[= Madagascar: Tamatave Province: Nosivolo River, below Zule's village, ca. 12 km east-northeast of Marolambo (19° 59'S 48°15'E), rotenone station in large side-pool off mainstream, scattered boulders, sand and gravel bottom with some fringing reeds (see fig. 14); 23. IX. 1990; lg P. N. Reinthal, M.L.J. Stiassny, G. J. P. Naylor and M. Erdman.

Remarques: 3 des 36 paratypes du lot AMNH 217741, récoltés en même temps que l'holotype.
