Paul Lassenius Kramp

Paul Kramp was certainly one of the most prominent and important hydrozoan taxonomists of the 20th century. Above all, his synopsis of the medusae (including Scyphozoa) set new standarts in species diagnosis by working out the objective differences between the species. Without his work, our present day studies would be much more difficult.
