Laboratories of marine stations around 1900

Naples

Naples

Roscoff, wet laboratory. The room and the equipment  has remained virtually unchanged up to today! (no reproach, on the contrary!)  So, M. Bedot, G. Teissier, J. Bouillon, and many others (including myself) may have experienced the same charming ambiance of this great station.

St. Vaast, note the interesting outfit of the gentleman

Banyuls-sur-Mer, the copy of the "Venus of Milo" seen in the background  is still present at the station, though recently it has been moved across the street.
