Staurodiscus gotoi (Uchida, 1927)  (Leptomedusae, ?Hebellidae) from New Zealand (bell diameter about 1 cm). Note the outgrowths on the radial canals bearing the gonads, a character diagnostic for the Leptomedusae. The small, club-shaped appendages on the bell margin are sensory organs. This is one of the few Leptomedusae that lacks statocysts.
