Biology : Perennial with a woody rootstock; stems numerous, procumbent, 15-50 cm long, slender, dichotomously branched; not spiny; leaf lamina to 30(50) x 3(3,5) mm, linear.
Ecology : Deciduous woodland on Kalahari Sand; 300-1250 m alt. Fairly common.
  Botswana, Caprivi Strip, Namibia (NE corner).
  Easy to confuse with E. neopolycnemoides.

Biol./Eco : biology: perennial- Dwarf shrub, Herb - Ht 0.1 - 0.3 m. Alt: 900 - 1000 m. Distribution: BOT, NAM
