Ecology and distribution
Trop. Afr.
Biology : Succulent perennial to 25 cm tall and in Ø, with compact branching forming rounded cushions; branches terete, 1,5-2 cm thick, 7-9-angled; angles separated by deep grooves, sinuately toothed, with teeth 3-6 mm apart; spiny; capsule and seeds unknown.
Ecology : Rocky north-facing slopes of limestone escarpment with Buxus hildebrandtii and deciduous shrubs; ± 1500 m alt.
