Biology : Dwarf spiny leafless succulent, forming a compact clump of branches at ground level; branches 10-15 cm long, 8-10 mm Ø, usually 4-angled, angles with ppposite tubercles, the latter tripped with a minute caducous leaf and a pair of spines;
Ecology : Rocky hillsides, among rocks in stony ground.
