Biology : Spiny succulent dwarf shrublet to 15 cm tall, with densely tufted, stoloniferous branches, forming compact clumps to 50 Ø; branches 5-8 mm Ø, very obtusely 4-angled; angles shallowly sinuate with tubercles 6-10 mm apart along the margins.
Ecology : Exposed granite slabs and domes, in rock crevices and outcrop margins in decomposed granite; 1100-1400 m alt.
