Biology : Sparsely branched straggly herb, erect, to 1 m tall, usually less; branches slender, woody; not spiny.
Ecology : In grass with ericoid bushland on quartzite soils of rocky slopes; 1220-2400 m alt.
  Closely related ro E. cyparissioides.
