Biology : Annual semi-prostrate herb, with branches to 45 cm long, often red tinged; leaves ovate-oblong, to 25 x 8 mm, base obliquely rounded to subcordate; not spiny.
Ecology : Seasonally wet grassland, in clay; river bank alluvium, usually seasonally flooded; 0-600 m alt.
