Biology : Dwarf succulent perennial; stem semi-prostrate, to 20 cm long, branching above the base; branches spreading, terete, 1-1,5 cm thick; basal part of the plant (to 10 cm) with small tightly congested tubercles 1-2 mm apart in 10-12 longitudinal series;
Ecology : Steep rocky limestone slopes with very sparse Commiphora scrub; ± 400 m alt.
  Cultivated.
  Near E. inaequispina.
