Biology : Erect monoecious perennial herb to 50 cm tall; fruit and seeds unknown.
Ecology : Black cotton soil, presumably in wooded grassland; ± 1800 m alt.
  In vegetative features, strongly reminiscent of the New Jersey Tea, Redroot, Ceanothus americanus L. ( Rhamnaceae ). Near T. impedita, T. lasiophylla.
