Biology : Geophytic, hysteranthous succulent with a tuberous root; stems to 2,5-4 cm high of which 2 cm or less are above the ground, erect, fleshy, to 1 cm thick; leaves produced during the vegetative period unknown;
Ecology : Ecology unknown; 2610 m alt. (Mt. Moco summit).
  Only known from the type collected in 1957. - Near M. simplex.
