Ecology and distribution
Trop. Afr.
Biology : Dioecious shrub or tree 3-25 m tall with clear bole to 12 m height, 15-80 cm Ø ; branches several, very ramose with drooping twigs.
Ecology : Old disturbed rain-forests, valley-forests, rain-forests with Gilbertiodendron dewevrei; secondary formations; rather frequent; 230-500 m alt.
