Ecology : Kalahari sand in ground layer of miombo and mixed deciduous woodlands; dambo margins under Parinari, Isoberlinia, Julbernardia, Brachystegia; open forests with Brachystegia subject to burning; sandy thickets; wooded bushy places; etc..
