Ecology and distribution
Trop. Afr.
Biology : Annual (or biennial?) erect herb, ± 40 cm; stem thick ( ± 5 mm ), sub-4-gonous and unbranched below, 4-gonous and muchbranched above; floriferous branches ascending, simple or fewbranched, narrowly 4-winged.
Ecology : Swamps; river banks. Only known from the type collected in 1948.
