Ecology and distribution
Trop. Afr.
Biology : Annual herb, to 30 cm tall; stem 4-gonous, prostrate and rooting at nodes at base on great length, ascending upwards;
Ecology : branches from prostrate base erect, sub-4-winged, branches from erect part of stem ± spreading. Humid sand at mouth of stream. Only known from the type collected in 1955.
