Biology : Shrub or subshrub 0,5-2,5 m tall, spreading, often muchbranched; branches glabrous, strict to ascending, orange to red, with 2 ribs when young, becoming rounded; bark irregular, flaking.
Ecology : Grassland, bushland, dry forest margins; often along streams; (1800-)2100-3900 m alt. Near H. conjungens (occurring at lower altitudes).
