Biology : Ribbon-like thallus, ± 1 mm wide with much-branched stems, simple axis. shoots, 1 ??0,5 mm; leaves 3-5 cm long, pinnate with linear segments only visible on young specimens

Ecology : Flat rocks on river sides at low water level amongst probably Stonesia gracilis; forming colonies covering rocks in swiftly flowing water at or just below water level.
