Biology : Perennial herb or low shrub with caespitose branches 10-20 cm long, rounded, 4-5 mm , very leafy, fruit unknown.
Ecology : Wooded land; open bushland on sand or gypsum; along the coast, but usually not on open dunes. Only known from a few collections. Near M. quercifolia.
