Ecology : Riverine thickets; rain-, half-deciduous and swampy forests; gallery forest; Raphia formations; bush on granitic crest with Dissotis leonensis, Psychotria calva, Indigofera dendroides, etc.; Ocotea forest, and also in bamboo zone; 800-2300 m alt. .
