Trop. Afr.
Biology : Twiggy shrub or tree 1,5-6-20 m tall; trunk 8-43 cm , with rounded branchlets.
Ecology : Forest regrowth and by villages; fallow land; gallery and swampy formations; rain-forest with Chrysophyllum, Cola gigantea, Parinari excelsa; also on stream banks; rocky savanna; 1-1500 m alt. Fernando Poo (Bioko).
