Biology : Erect subshrub c. 0,5 m tall, much-branched, with a woody rootstock.
Ecology : Open grassland, woodland; roadsides (Transvaal). S. Africa. The specimen cited in Consp. Fl. Angol. 1: 232, 1951 (Serpa Pinto 27) is perhaps T. angolensis.
