Biology : Liane reaching 5-8 m in height with rounded stem or slightly pentagonal in section, to 3 cm Ø at base; bark smooth with epidermal erect, conical prickles 1-2 mm long and a dense to very dense golden brown pubescence.
Ecology : In the rain-forest zone; savannas near forest; fallow land.
