Biology : Shrub, trailing or climbing by rootlets; stem to 0,6 cm thick, glabrous but profusely armed with simple or forked protuberances which end in very small stinging hairs.
Ecology : Forest.
  Only known from 2 specimens. Perhaps conspecific with U. cordifolia and U. gabonensis (cf. above under U. cordifolia) but seems different from U. batesii.
