Ecology and distribution
Trop. Afr.
Biology : Erect branched shrub to 4 m tall, monoecious; branchlets slender erect or ascending, leafy and white tomentose above, glabrescent with warm red-brown cortex below; leaves alternate; male and female inflorescences sessile, of globose flower clusters.
Ecology : Rocky slopes in dry forest and in humid parts of ravines.
