Biology : Tree (2-)6-30(-36) m, evergreen, much-branched; with small buttresses at base; bole 1,5 m ; bark brown, rough fissured, secreting a copious white latex.
Ecology : Evergreen rain-forest, riverine forest, bushland, streamsides; cultivated ground in areas cleared of forest; 1350-2400 m alt.
