Ecology and distribution
Trop. Afr.
Biology : Epiphyte; stems slender, trailing or pendant, branched in lower part, to 60 cm long, 1-1,5 mm ; rooting at nodes; woody basal parts to 2,5 mm ; leaves long persistent, thick fleshy; fruit a berry.
Ecology : Forest (transition zone between lowland and montane); in half shade on tree trunks and thick branches well above groundlevel; with mosses, ferns, Lycopodium, and orchid Polystachya caloglossa; 600-1000 m alt. Fernandoo Poo (Bioko; 750 m alt.; rare).
