Ecology and distribution
Trop. Afr.
Biology : Annual, to 90 cm high, erect or spreading, normally muchbranched; subacute leaves in dense basal rosette; ± 15 cm high.
Ecology : Weed of crops, old cultivations and pastures; to 1950 m alt. (1520-2750 m in Kenya). Cosmopolitan. Introduced in N. America and Australia. For C. murale var. schimperi Aschers., see C. fasciculosum.
