Biology : Annual, to at least 30 cm tall; stems with glandular and eglandular more persistent basal leaves which become coriaceous.
Ecology : Evergreen bushland, usually in grassy places; 1400-1650 m alt. (Somalia) – Adventitious in Tanzania, Zimbabwe; Europe, N Africa, Libya, Egypt; Asia; introduced in America, Australia.
