Biology : Perennial long-hairy herb with trailing branches to 60(-75) cm long, ending in a terminal rosette of leaves; old bark falling off.
Ecology : Forest margins and glades, grassland, hedgerows, roadsides, bushlands; also weed of cultivated land; 1050-3600 m alt. Fernando Poo (Bioko); Mascarene Isl.; S. Africa; S India, Celebes.
