Biology : Shrub with often drooping branches or tree to 30 m high, with straight tapering bole 70 cm .
Ecology : Several ecological forms in habitats from driest savanna to borders of the forest zone, usually in moist situations but also in relatively dry; 1050-1765 m alt.
