Biology : Herb with ovate-conical bulb, scales dark-coloured, marcescent; radical leaves erect, long-sheathing, channelled, linear-lanceolate, 45-60x0,6-0,8 cm, apex acuminate; scape 30-60-75 cm tall; raceme lax, 7,5-12,5 cm long; pedicels erecto-patent, lower ones 1,2 cm long; perianth 1,2-1,5 cm long; tepals white with a broad green keel, the 3 upper sub-helmet-shaped; fruit unknown ?
Ecology : Rocky mountain thickets.
  ? Only known from the type collected in 1857.
