Biology : Herb to 1 m tall; leaves linear; scape long; raceme densely flowered, 40-50 cm long; bracts 2-3 cm long, 3-5 mm wide at base; pedicels 5 mm long; flowers campanulate; tepals 2,5-2,7x0,6-0,8 cm, yellow with a green keel; fruit 1,8 cm long, 1,5 cm wide.
Ecology : Meadows on slope of rock, in sunny places wet in the rainy season; 900-1000 m alt.
  Said to be near (A. angolensis Welw. =) A. abyssinica, but with longer and less dense raceme, and with wider and obtuse tepals. Taxonomic status uncertain.
  ? Known only from the type (Zenker 1507). Cameroon: Yaounde. Not mapped.
