Biology : Herb to 30 cm tall; bulb 2-4 cm Ø; leaves lanceolate, to 9x3 cm, ± spotted; raceme, 3-12 cm long with up to 50 flowers; pedicels 0,5-1 cm long; flowers pitcher-shaped, purple with the margin of tepals paler than the centre, ovate, 4-6x c. 3 mm; capsule c. 5 mm long.
Ecology : Rocky outcrops; grassland on thin soil; stony river banks; 2320-2750 m alt.
  Resembling L. revoluta but flowers urceolate and tepals wider.
