Biology : Herb slender, c. 23 cm tall; bulb egg-shaped, white, c. 5x4 cm; scape yellowish green with brownish purple tiny spots; leaves linear, produced later that the flowers, base red spotted, c. 25 x 0,8 cm; raceme c. 7-15 cm long, c. 20-30-flowered; pedicels 2-5 mm long; perianth segments c. 5 mm long, united for c. 1 mm; filaments filiform, white and united with the perianth segment c. 1 mm, free part c. 3 mm; capsule subglobose, to 1,1x1 cm, emarginate.
Ecology : Recently burnt open savanna woodland; 1400-1600 m alt.
