Biology : |
Frond floating on water surface 1-2 together, ovate, 1-3x0,9-3 mm, without teeth along margin; with many stomata; air spaces indistinct, only around base; pigment cells absent; vegetative and reproductive fronds similar; with a tract of elongated cells situated in the median line of the lower wall of the pouch that is lacking appendage. Flowering and fruiting in the field. |
