Biology : Perennial herb, much-branched from the base upwards, erect unknown.
Ecology : From open or Acacia grassland to roadsides, saline flats, swamps or even in standing water; mostly on heavy soils from pale buff sandy clayey loam to black cotton soil; 450-1690 m alt. Botswana, Namibia, S. Africa.
